COVID-19 Protection Policy
We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are proactively implementing additional hygiene procedures and precautions to ensure that the highest possible standards are upheld throughout every area and service which the hotel provides, for its guests as well as our own team. We are committed to playing our part in trying to prevent COVID-19 from escalating. We ask that our guests do the same and follow healthcare and government guidelines regarding personal hygiene, respiratory etiquette and COVOD-19.
While the situation is still evolving rapidly, we know it is important to be prepared to deal with any escalation in the spread of the virus and have the following actions in place:

- PPE worn as necessary
- Signage and floor markings to observe social distancing guidelines
- Express check-out available
- Reduced contact at check-in, so face-to-face contact with our staff can be avoided
- We’ll give you the elbow rather than a handshake
- Contactless payment is preferred
Restaurant
- Revised approach to service operations adhering to WHO and HSE guidelines
- Our seating plans have been modified to adhere to social distancing measures
- Call and Collect options available for in-room dining
- Contactless payment is preferred
Hygienic Measures
- Sufficient supply of hand sanitisers and/or anti-bacterial wipes and paper towels in public areas
- Posters in public bathrooms to inform of good hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette
- Additional tissues available in public areas
- Property linen washed on a higher temperature
- We have identified all common touch points and have implemented a thorough sanitisation of these points using products which are effective in killing the virus
- Extra public area staff have been rostered to ensure regular sanitising of commonly touched surfaces
- We are committed to providing the additional manpower required to implement best practice procedures
- We encourage guests to pre-pay for their stay
- We have introduced a ‘no-touch’ housekeeping service, where guests can request cleaning products and linen to be left at their door, available upon request
- Our robust cleaning processes are further enhanced by new disinfecting technologies to ensure your room is sanitised before entry
- All shareable beauty products have been removed from rooms
Training
- Our team has received Return to Work Safety Protocol Training and are fully briefed on government guidelines pertaining to hygiene and social distancing
- Continuous review of government directives will result in additional training as required
- As government guidelines are updated we will review and revise training as necessary
- Our internal communications platforms are ensuring efficient flow of protocols and updates
- We have circulated health authority guidelines on personal hygiene and travel arrangements to all employees
- Comprehensive employee communications policy to ensure reliable, up-to-date information is communicated to employees and to clarify procedures and policies around mitigating the risks associated with COVID-19
